Job Details:  

Defining test cases for the product and automate those test cases.
Develop a test harness and test cases for the product at component, integration and acceptance level including execution of these test cases.
Use industry standard testing methods in testing product.
Creation, maintenance and execution of test cases pertaining to: System testing, Regression testing, Functional Testing, Release testing and User acceptance testing.
Log and manage defects found during all phases of testing.
Work closely with the engineers in the core development group.
1st line support.


Desired Profile Required:

Degree in Engineering, computer Science or Technology discipline
Preferred. - 3+ years of experience in quality assurance (QA), testing complex applications.
ISEB or ISTQB qualified
Experience in Linux, writing shell scripts and database.
Understanding networking
Technologies such as TCP/IP, UDP, IGMP, VPNs etc.
Excellent Communication skills.
Proactive Approach
Experience in fast moving start-up type organisations preferred.
Desirable - Scripting skills e.g Tcl would be advantageous
Experience in the broadcast industry would be of significant benefit
Experience in networking technologies such as TCP/IP, UDP, IGMP, VPNs - etc.
Familiar with C and C++ programming
Familiar with embedded technologies
